Do You Know Where A Range Is?

Occasionally, those new to the area ask, “where do you go to shoot?”. We belong to Alexandria Gun Club,  a marvelous range that we enjoy very much. It is members only, and it’s quite a ways away.
We’ve done quite a bit of research on ranges and most lucky folks know someone, with a lot of land that allows them to practice there.
The best single source we’ve found online is http://wheretoshoot.org.  Input your zip code and this site tells the address,  what kind of ranges, etc. When we looked, we found a lot of shotgun ranges, but nothing else that’s public anywhere nearby.
